Hi! We're Iva and Keagan, two 18 year olds on our gap years before college. We met in fall 2020, and became lifelong friends while falling in love with the outdoors (a near death experience with a moose solidified our soul sister bond). Whether its waking up to a frost-covered tent, reaching the summit of a mountain, or kayaking next to harbor seals, there really is nothing like connecting with nature. 

 

This spring, we've decided to continue our wilderness exploration. First, to Alaska, then on a 6-week drive across the continental U.S. We were both born and raised in the Northeast, and only in the past six months did we begin to appreciate all of magnificence that this country has to offer.

We hope this blog and podcast serves as entertainment, as an escape from your quarantine, and most of all, as inspiration to go outside and start exploring. As Edward Abbey, the great conservationist once said, "[be] a part-time crusader, a half-hearted fanatic. Save the other half of yourselves and your lives for pleasure and adventure.
